Duplicating

ITG offers duplicating services to Chemistry Faculty and Staff.

Duplicating is available for self-service 24-7. If you’d like to take advantage of this, please request training from ITG at chemitg@iu.edu. You can also download our Duplicating Handbook to get familiar with the process. Physical copies of this handbook are also available in the ITG Office (A003).

Online submissions are welcome as usual by filling out our Duplicating Request form.  Requests will be available for pickup in the ITG Office during normal business hours (8am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm) or delivered to your mailbox for after-hours pickup.

Please allow two business days for large requests or one business day for normal requests (detailed below).  Rush requests should be avoided if at all possible, however we will accommodate them on a first-come first-served basis. Equipment will occasionally be down for repair or maintenance. For rush jobs during such periods, the campus MAXI Service may be utilized (855-2727); however, prior approval from the Director of Chemistry Business is required.

Large requests refers to any print jobs which require 400 or more individual sheets of paper (e.g. 40 copies of a single-sided 10 page document).

Normal requests refers to any print jobs which require less than 400 individual sheets of paper.

The following priorities are observed

  1. Exams
  2. Grant Proposals
  3. Class Notes
  4. Department memoranda

A few notes to help keep things running smoothly

  • Fill out the duplicating request form completely.
  • Dark blue or black ink reproduces better.
  • Leave at least a half inch margin on all sides of the paper.
  • If you have any problems or questions, please see the duplicating operator or call 855-8980.
