Conference Rooms

These rooms are available to the department and can be used for meetings and conferences. They all have 10Mb half-duplex data jacks that may be used, and a phone line that can be called at 856-4238. An AV cart is now also available, outfitted with a web camera, microphone, and document camera for streaming classes. All items can be accessed by plugging in the single USB cable located on top of the cart.

Chem-C127

C127 doubles as the Faculty-Staff Lounge when it’s not being used. It can seat 25 people and has a small kitchen attached to it. It also has a dual data/phone jack (C127-A), which sports a 10Mb half-duplex data line and a phone line that can be called at 856-4238.

A ceiling mounted LCD Projector is now available in C127 for use.

Video & audio cables and the remote (mounted on the wall) are located in the SE corner of the room. An orange LED on the front of the projector shows it is in standby. The red button on the remote will turn power on and off (pressed twice for off) to the projector, the LED will change to green when the LCD is ready. Audio is controlled by the remote as well as at your device, if the audio cable is connected.

Chem-C225

C225 is a small room for those that don’t plan to have many guests, which can seat up to 10 people. It has a dual data/phone jack (C225-A), which sports a 10Mb half-duplex data line and a phone line that can be called at 856-4238.

Chem-C311

C311 is a slightly larger room which can seat 18-20 people. It has a small kitchen unit attached to it which comes with a sink and microwave. It also has a dual data/phone jack (C311-A), which sports a 10Mb half-duplex data line and a phone line that can be called at 856-4238.

A ceiling mounted LCD Projector is available in C311 for use. Video & audio cables and the remote are located in the front of the room, to the left of the blackboard.

Chem-A300

A300 features dual blackboards for those that plan to have an interactive writing session. It can seat up to 12 people. It also has a dual data/phone jack (A300-A), which sports a 10Mb half-duplex data line and a phone line that can be called at 856-4238.

Chem-A500

A500 is a newer room with a more professional look. It has a kitchen attached to it and can seat 15-20 people. It also has a dual data/phone jack (A500-A), which sports a 10Mb half-duplex data line and a phone line that can be called at 856-4238. A ceiling mounted LCD Projector is available in A500 for use. Video & audio cables and the remote are located in the NW corner of the room.
